Second ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot To Include Channing Tatum & Chris Pratt

Yet another Ghostbusters reboot is in the works, and this time it’s alleged to include actors Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt.

In a recent interview with MTV, screenwriter Drew Pearce (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) gave some insights about a possible Ghostbusters screenplay featuring the duo.

“I’ve finished my work on that in the last couple weeks. Obviously it’s top secret,” Pearce told MTV. When asked if Tatum and Pratt would take lead roles, he said, “That’s definitely the cast we’ve been thinking about as we approach the project.”

While Paul Feig’s reboot of Ghostbusters (due out July 22, 2016) will include a female-driven cast  Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones  the second reboot will not be exclusive to only males.

Pearce took to Twitter after the news broke to clarify some information, stating, “For the record, my GB idea has a mixed gender team. Also ghosts of all classes (I to VII). It’s very inclusive that way,” he wrote.

“Also, I’ve only written a bible (because I have to go off and direct my own stuff). No script yet. So news cycle: CHILL YOUR BOOTS.”
