“The Lone Ranger” Now Has a Trailer

Next year’s Disney action-adventure film, “The Lone Ranger” has finally released a trailer. Inspired by the old 1950’s radio/television series, it follows the legendary characters of Tonto and John Reid aka The Lone Ranger. Both seeking justice in the wild west, the trailer seems to be promising with the amount spent on the film – but it will still have to hold up in its final form. The film has cost an estimated $250 million. The high production costs create an increased risk. A valuable lessen Disney learned when their release “John Carter” failed to break even earlier this year.

Although with superstar Johnny Depp as Tonto, and Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) starring in the film with Oscar winner Gore Verbinski (“Rango”)  at the helm – it does show potential. The film opens everywhere on July 3, 2013 and also stars Tom Wilkinson and Helena Bonham Carter.

Check out the trailer below and see what you think of  Disney’s first look at “The Lone Ranger.”
