Watch: Final ‘Insurgent’ Trailer Released

The final trailer for the dystopian young adult film The Divergent Series: Insurgent has been released!

The clip begins by showing heroine Tris (Shailene Woodley) rocking a short haircut and on the run to avoid being captured by Kate Winslet’s character, the Erudite leader Jeanine.

Theo James reprises his role as Tris’ handsome love interest Four, Miles Teller returns as Peter, and Ansel Elgort is back once more as Tris’ brother Caleb. Joining the cast for Insurgent is Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts.

“You are living proof that the Divergent problem has grown beyond all control,” says Caleb to his sister Tris in the upcoming installment.

THE DIVERGENT SERIES: INSURGENT raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.
