Watch the ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Trailer

The official full length trailer for N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton debuted on Monday.

The upcoming biopic tells the story of how one of the most famous West Coast rap groups rose to fame from the streets of Compton, California. N.W.A consisted of Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren. The iconic group was known for creating controversial and explicit lyrics, but their gangster rap opened doors for many rappers.

The Straight Outta Compton trailer features Ice Cube and Dr. Dre cruising down the streets of Compton where it all started. Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., will fill the role of his famous father in the biopic. Paul Giamatti will star as N.W.A manager and Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller.

Straight Outta Compton opens in theaters this summer.
