Breaking: Lil Wayne Suffers Seizure During Flight

According to TMZ, Rapper Lil Wayne suffered a seizure during a flight, forcing his private jet to land in Nebraska.

Wayne was performing in a night club in Milwaukee and later took a cross country flight to California. The rapper blacked out once the pilot put the plane down in Omaha.

Paramedics rushed to the air strip this afternoon. Luckily Wayne was responsive but has refused medical treatment.

This isn’t the first time the Young Money founder has suffered from seizures.

On October 25, 2012,  Lil Wayne’s private jet had made an emergency landing in Texas due to medical episode. Sources stated that it was due to a seizure, yet his publicist declined those reports stating that it was due to a severe migraine and dehydration.

The last reported seizure proved near fatal! Five months later Wayne was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering seizures while shooting a music video with Nicki Minaj. The next day he was released but TMZ reported that the rapper was unconscious after experiencing further seizures hours after he was released. He was taken back to Cedars-Sinai were it was discovered that codeine was the cause of Wayne’s near fatal episode.

The rapper has stated that he is epileptic and has suffered from seizures since childhood.

Wayne is in stable condition and in “good spirits” after the incident. TMZ is reporting that the rapper was seen with five 16oz bottles of Promethazine/Codeine syrup just hours before boarding the flight.
