Britney Spears Offered Vegas Residency Extension

Six months after launching her “Britney: Piece of Me” residency show in Sin City, pop superstar Britney Spears has been offered a multi-million dollar deal to extend her Las Vegas residency by one year into 2016. Spears signed a $30 million deal for two years at Planet Hollywood last year, with the current set of shows expected to end in late 2015, but after huge commercial success Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner wants the “Work B**ch” singer to stay.

“Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not. She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health,” said Selesner.

Spears began her “Britney: Piece of Me” shows in December 2013. The sold-out residency gig, which features a number of the 32-year-old singer’s greatest hits, including ‘Toxic’, ‘Baby One More Time’, ‘Oops! I Did It Again’ and ‘Circus’, has seen a number of celebrities attend, including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry. The popular show, which takes place at Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theater, has even been outselling musical legends like Celine Dion and Elton John!

A senior executive at Caesars Entertainment has confirmed the extension of the show. Spears has reportedly signed the huge $12 million contract extension, which will add at least 30 more dates to the singer’s current run of shows.
