Childish Gambino is not pleased with his record label, Glassnote Records. Following the release of the music video for his song “Sweatpants” and a blog post about his Deep Web Tour, the rapper slammed the label and delivered a “come and get me” plea to rival record labels.

The rapper was reportedly not happy with the way the video reveal was handled, so he headed to Twitter to make his feelings known. “This sweatpants video and blog was important to us and it wasnt handled correctly. We were told a lot of things were gonna happen and they were all lies. so im done. someone buy me out of this contract,” he wrote on Twitter on Monday, April 14, in reference to his new music video, which dropped yesterday morning. He claimed he had been lied to about the video.

Gambino continued to voice his frustrations with the label, posting a series of tweets on the subject.

Childish Gambino’s “Because the Internet,” which features his hit single “3005,” topped the Billboard Rap Albums chart when released in November.
