Country’s own Miranda Lambert and Chris Brown have been attacking each other with words on their Twitter accounts throughout the past week.

It started last Monday when Lambert used her Twitter account to express her anger: “And Chris Brown Twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen” referring to his Grammy performance, and best R&B Album win acceptance the night before.

Brown is currently serving his five year probation sentence for beating his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

He tweeted back saying, “hate all you want because I got a grammy now! That’s the ultimate f*** off.”

The Grammy winner later removed this tweet, but Lambert had more to say.

On Wednesday she tweeted back: “I’m done for now. But not for good:) nite love bugs & remember…Be who you are an stand for what u believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!” She also added, in a separate tweet, that she too has a Grammy.

To add to the feud, Miranda held up a vivid handwritten poster on stage that read, “take notes Chris Brown.” during a concert in Amherst, Mass. Thursday.

Her audience applauded as she went on to say, “where I come from, beating up on a women is never OK.”

Brown fired back on Sunday implying that the country artist was using his name “to get publicity.”

“I love it! Perform your heart out!” he tweeted, “Go buy @miranda_lambert! So motivational and “PERFECT.” Goodnight to all the people who live life and who aren’t stuck in the past!”

Miranda has not yet responded to Brown’s tweets.
