Ed Sheeran Releases New Music Video

Ed Sheeran released a new music video Tuesday for his latest single, a romantic ballad titled “Thinking Out Loud.” In the video, Sheeran shows his skills as a ballroom dancer.

The British singer-songwriter looks like a professional as he twirls and lifts his partner around a ballroom. Sheeran had spent many hours a day training for the video, which was directed by Emil Nava.

“I wanted the video to be a little different, so I opted for ballroom dancing,” Sheeran said. “I had lessons for five hours a day when I was on my U.S. tour.”

“Thinking Out Loud” is the latest single from Sheeran’s album, x, which was released this past June. The track serves as a follow-up to previous singles “Sing” and “Don’t.”
