Lady Gaga Launches Born This Way Foundation

Today the Queen Monster announced she is launching the Born This Way Foundation to empower youth and inspire bravery.

The foundation’s homepage simply reads:

“This way, towards bravery where youth are empowered.

This way, towards acceptance where humanity is embraced.

This way, towards love where individuality is encouraged.

Join us, this way.”

Gaga has partnered with the MacArthur Foundation, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and The California Endowment.

“Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment,” said Lady Gaga of the upcoming foundation.

The foundation will be officially launched next year and will be run by Gaga and her mother.
