Could My Chemical Romance be reuniting?

The rock bandplayed their final show together in May 2012 and broke up back in 2013, but a cryptic video was posted to the group’s social media accounts and official website Wednesday. The thirty-four second clip features the image of a flag waving accompanied by the sound of a piano playing the intro to the band’s 2006 hit single “Welcome to the Black Parade.” The video ends with the date “9/23/16” appearing on the screen.

September 23 marks exactly one month before the tenth anniversary of the release of their third and most successful studio album, The Black Parade. It is currently unknown what the group is teasing for September 23, but many are speculating that the band is reuniting.

Their Twitter account also has a new avatar, featuring a cross and the letters “MCRX,” which could be a new logo for the group. Their official website has been revamped and indicates that t-shirts with the logo are currently on sale.
