NBC announced Thursday that it would be airing Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour, a two-hour special next month.
The documentary goes behind the scenes of Cyrus’ current tour that began back in February and will “examine what makes [Cyrus] such a global phenomenon,” according to NBC’s press release. Footage was taken from her concert dates in Barcelona, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal on June 13 and 15, respectively.
“There are few recording artists with the global success achieved by Miley Cyrus,” said NBC executive Paul Telegdy. “This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts.”

Since the special will be airing on network television, viewers won’t likely see too much of Cyrus’ craziness. Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour will air on NBC on Sunday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
