1D Headed in New Direction For Fifth Album

Get ready Directioners! The guys has begun work on their fifth studio album.

It’s only been three weeks since the departure of Zayn Malik from the group, but that hasn’t kept the remaining four guys on focusing on the future.

Louis Tomlinson took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that him and Liam were having “1st day back writing !!”

“Zayn’s departure has definitely lit a fire under their asses. The boys are convinced [their next album] will be their biggest success yet. Liam is really the catalyst making sure everyone is focused and bringing their A game. He needn’t worry though as Louis, Harry and Niall are all on board and working hard,” a 1D insider told Hollywood Life.

“Harry really wants to make his mark as a songwriter and show he’s a talented one at that. He knows this album could make or break his future musical career and is taking it very seriously.”

Although we’ve heard the demo of Zayn’s alleged “solo work” thanks to producer Naughty Boy, there’s no word yet on what One Direction’s new music will sound like without their fifth member.

What do you think One Direction’s first album without Zayn will sound like? Will it be better or worse?
