Ed Sheeran Drops ‘Sing’ Music Video

Ed Sheeran unleashed a sneak peek of the music video for his hit single “Sing” on Wednesday, May 21. The “X” singer shared the clip on his Instagram account, writing, “The SING video drops tomorrow at 3pm on my Facebook.”

In the teaser, a white pickup truck is racing chaotically down the street, knocking over anything and everything in its path. The clip starts with the truck charging down the street, along with cutaway shots of an a pile of boxes set up in an alley and text that reads “Ed Sheeran, SING, COMING SOON.” Then, as the opening strums of the song come in, the vehicle barges through the wall of cardboard boxes, bringing the mini-video to a close. The 15-second sneak peak showed no glimpse of Ed, but it’s highly possible the flame-haired singer is the creator of the chaos and the terrible driver behind the wheel. Check out the exciting little snippet from the upcoming “Sing” video below.

“Sing,” which first premiered back in April, is the lead track off Sheeran’s forthcoming album X, as in “multiply.” When released, the track zoomed to No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Sheeran his highest charting single in the United States to date. Listen to the song below.

Ed Sheeran’s sophomore album X is scheduled for a June 23 release, arriving nearly three years after the 23-year-old singer’s first album, +.
