This morning a gunman opened fire onto a Rolls Royce Ghost being driven by rapper Rick Ross. During the shooting Ross lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an apartment building. The incident occurred on East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL around 5 a.m.
“An unknown vehicle shot a couple of rounds,” Detective DeAnna Garcia reported. “The vehicle was not struck.” One bullet did penetrate a window at the 24-hour diner The Floridian on Las Olas.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. Ross and his passenger, Shateria L. Moragne-el, came out of the shooting unscathed. It is reported that Ross was out last night celebrating his 37th birthday.
Police are still searching for the gunman.
