The Rolling Stones to Resume Tour in May

After canceling a seven-date tour throughout Australia and New Zealand in the wake of the death of fashion designer and Mick Jagger’s longtime girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, The Rolling Stones are resuming their world tour.

The legendary group has announced 14 dates across Europe and Israel in May, June and July as part of the “14 On Fire” tour. The tour will kick-off on May 26 at Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway, and includes stops at Lisbon’s Rock in Rio Festival, Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park, Madrid’s Bernabéu Stadium and Denmark’s Roskilde Festival. The band will also play in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Belgium, and Sweden. See the full list of stops below.

On the upcoming tour dates, The Stones have vowed to play a set “packed full of classic Stones hits,” such as “Gimme Shelter”, “Paint It Black”, “Jumping Jack Flash”, ”Tumbling Dice”, and “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll.” Fans can also expect to see the iconic rockers perform a couple of “unexpected gems.”

Scott, 49, had been Jagger’s companion since 2001. She was found dead in her Manhattan apartment by an assistant on March 17. The 49-year-old model and designer was reportedly found kneeling with a scarf wrapped around her neck that had been tied to the handle of a French door. The New York City medical examiner’s office ruled her death a suicide.
