Skrillex Releases Surprise Album, Announces Tour

Skrillex has announced his upcoming North American tour via an app that was just released last week called “Alien Ride”.  Inside the app a folder contained 11 hidden objects, which included his debut full-length album Recess, a countdown clock till the album’s release and a retro alien game.

After performing at Austin’s SXSW, the Winter Music Conference, Ultra Music Festival and Coachella, Skrillex will kick off his North American tour in Oklahoma on May 23.

Recess officially releases on March 17.
