Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Performer: Bruno Mars

Grammy Award-winning artist Bruno Mars will be the halftime performer for the Super Bowl XLVIII, a person familiar with the NFL’s entertainment plans told the Associated Press.

An official announcement is expected to be made at an event tomorrow in New York’s Times Square.

Super Bowl XLVIII will be played at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, February 2, 2014.  Over 100 million people are expected to watch this year’s halftime show.

Next year’s game is already getting a ton of attention because it is being held outdoors with no protection from the elements.  East Rutherford’s average temperature for February 2 is 29 degrees fahrenheit, making next year’s Super Bowl possibly one if the coldest in history.

Despite the cold, Bruno Mars is expected to rock Metlife Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday with his hit singles “Just The Way You Are,” “Gernade,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “When I Was Your Man,” and many more!

Super Bowl XLVIII will be broadcast on FOX on February 2, 2014.
