Former Rufus singer Chaka Khan was at No.1 on the UK singles chart with “I Feel For You” from November 4th through November 24th. Written by Prince, the song featured Stevie Wonder on harmonica, with rapping from Grandmaster Melle Mel.

Mariah Carey scored her second Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with ballad “Love Takes Time.” She’d debuted with her first leader, “Vision of Love.”

Vanilla Ice started a 16-week run at No.1 on the US album chart with To The Extreme – his best selling album. The album contains Vanilla Ice’s most successful singles, “Ice Ice Baby” and “Play That Funky Music”.

“Redneck Woman” became Gretchen Wilson’s first gold single. The song was Wilson’s only number one single on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.
