Today, Netflix announced that their popular young-adult fantasy series Shadow & Bone will return for a second season. A record 55 million households tuned in to the first season.
After the success of their sci-fi series, The Umbrella Academy, Netflix was on the lookout for more YA content to fill their streaming platform. They turned to author Leigh Bardugo, and her popular young-adult fantasy novel series ‘Shadow And Bone’. Leigh and producer Eric Heisserer brought the stories to life, and once again, Netflix captured the eyes and wallets of millions.
