Nicki Minaj Announces North American ‘Pink Friday’ Tour Dates

The Head Barb has announced North American dates for her “Pink Friday” tour. This is Nicki Minaj’s first tour as a headliner.

The tour is to support Minaj’s sophomore album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 253,000 copies sold last month.

A Pepsi marketing campaign that features Minaj’s 2010 track “Moment 4 Life” will be unveiled. “Minaj represents the kind of artist who’s in the moment, making things happen on her own terms,” says Frank Cooper, PepsiCo chief marketing officer of global consumer engagement.

The tour kicks off on July 16 at the Chicago Theatre, and wraps up on Aug. 12 in Vancouver.

Minaj is scheduled to shoot a video with Chris Brown for “Right By My Side.”

The first tickets go on sale on Saturday (May 5).
