Winners will be announced Nov. 8.

The World Series is currently underway between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians, but during their day off Thursday, Rawlings Sports announced the nominees for the Gold Glove awards. These awards honor MLB players at each fielding position in both the American League and the National League.

MLB managers and coaches vote for the awards and are not allowed to vote for their own players. The players’ statistics also play a role in determining who wins.

Winners of the Gold Glove Awards will be announced Tuesday, November 8 on ESPN’s Baseball Tonight.
