WWE Responds to Brock Lesnar’s Anti-Doping Violation

“Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, Aug. 21,” is the only thing WWE could say.

After being flagged early Friday for an anti-doping policy violation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, Lesnar could be in deep with both UFC and the WWE.

If the violation checks out, this would mean the former UFC Fighter will forfeit his UFC 200 match with Mark Hunt. The fight would be ruled a no contest, with Hunt already responding to the situation:

I saw Brock made millions for this fight, more than anyone ever. I wanna know what they are gonna do to Brock now. When you don’t make weight they give twenty percent of your purse to the other fighter. If you get caught cheating you should lose all of it. I’ve told Dana I want half of Brock’s purse.

WWE on the other hand has stepped away, stating he hasn’t fought since Wrestlemania. Lesnar is set to face Randy Orton at WWE Summer Slam on August 21, but that could change.

Depending on how long the process takes with the USADA, there’s a chance Brock will miss the WWE pay-per-view. This is his first violation, which means he could miss up to 30 days.
