WWE Wrestler Daniel Bryan Announces Retirement

The “Yes!” movement has come to an end, as WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan has announced his retirement today.

For the past two years, Bryan has been riddled with injuries. In May of 2014, the WWE superstar had surgery due to a lingering neck problem. With fears of undergoing a second surgery on his right elbow, he went to Denver to undergo the Muscle Technique Activations program which successfully returned strength to his right arm. He returned to in-ring action on January 15th, 2014 and would then win the WWE Intercontinental Championship during Wrestlemania 31.

His title reign was unfortunately cut short. During a taping of Smackdown on April 14th , Bryan received an unplanned cut on his forehead. After undergoing an MRI, he announced that he would be out indefinitely.

While the results of the MRI were not released, Bryan revealed in July that the injury was concussion based. Since then the former WWE Champion has been vocal on his doctors clearing him to wrestle, but WWE doctors have not cleared him due to health precautions.

Daniel Bryan is set to announce details on his retirement on tonight’s RAW on USA  at 7PM CST.
