What You Should Know About the New iPhone

Apple’s next generation of phone is one of the most anticipated gadgets of 2014.  Rumored to be named the iPhone 6, here are the top nine things you should know about the next iPhone.

1) There’s probably more than one “next iPhone”

Rumors have sparked that there will be two iPhone models this year.

2) It might be more expensive
The price is estimated around $299 with a 2 year contract

3) The next phone may come earlier than expected
Rumors have spread that the iPhone will be released in August, rather than September

4) It will most likely be called iPhone 6

5) The camera may be improved
The 5S already has an amazing camera, but this is said to increase the size of pixels to 8-megapixel and there will be a “Super Resolution Mode” in a new app.

6)  Bigger Display

One of the major perks with the iPhone 6 is that it will have a larger display and will be thinner than previous models, measuring 138 millimeters tall by 67 mm wide and 7 mm thick. In comparison, the iPhone 5S is 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm.

7) TouchID and fingerprint use will be more
TouchID will still be used to unlock the home screen and make purchases, but could now be used with PayPal and Google Wallet

8) It will come with a newer version of iOS
iOS is to be announced at next month’s WWDC and will consist of many new features.

9) It might work with a smartwatch
