- Although The Beatles as a group was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame decades ago, Paul McCartney was finally presented with one of his own on Feb. 9.
- Like McCartney, Van Halen will release a new CD on Valentine’s Day, the band’s first in decades.
- The Fray is on tour and will be in Houston on June 24. The group will also perform during the South by Southwest festival in Austin.
- Former “American Idol” competitor Constantine Maroulis will be among the cast of “The Toxic Avenger,” a musical production adapted from the movie of the same name. He will return to Houston in October for the touring musical production “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”
- Singer Adele, who suffered from throat trouble in 2011 that caused her tour to be canceled, will appear and perform Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
