- Van Halen, with David Lee Roth resuming his role as lead vocalist, has announced a 2012 tour with tickets on sale Jan. 10, but no tour dates or venues have been mentioned.
- The song “Why This Kolaveri Di,” performed in the Tamil language, is the most download song in the world.
- A fire at a coliseum in Honduras forces the end of a concert that featured the group LMFAO, but with no serious injuries, Redfoo from LMFAO was able to joke about the situation on Twitter.
