BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD Returns To Television

Beavis and Butt-Head return to MTV on Oct. 27th

One of my favorite MTV shows of all time, “Beavis and Butt-Head”, is FINALLY returning back to television after a 14-year hiatus.

Debuting on Oct. 27 on MTV, this will be Mike Judge’s first major success since the series finale of “King of the Hill” on May 6, 2010. The character Hank Hill was actually based off of the “Beavis and Butt-Head” character Tom Anderson.

The show will be much like the nineties version. In an interview with Rolling Stone  MTV President Van Toffler stated, “They’ll be self-contained segments with the boys in different situations like they used to be.  But this time around, they’ll watch Jersey Shore, UFC matches and user-generated videos from YouTube, in addition to music videos.”

Sneak footage of the episode “Holy Cornholio” was shown at the 2011 Comic Con.  According to Mike Judge there have been a minimum of 24 episodes (12 thirty-minute programs) that will air.
