HBO Cancels Three Fan Favorites

HBO has cancelled three of it’s shows: “Hung,” “How to Make it in America,” and “Bored to Death.”  The network did renew one it’s newest shows “Enlightened,” which has been struggling in ratings for its first season.

“Hung,” the story of a gym teacher turned male hooker starred Jane Adams, Anne Heche and Rebecca Creskoff but pulled in less than a million viewers for the season three finale.

While “Hung” couldn’t hang onto it’s members, even less were tuning into “How to Make it in America.”  The show’s title, which confuses most at first, is about two guys trying to hustle their way into the New York fashion scene to reach the “American Dream”.  There must not be too many males into New York fashion because only 600,000 fans viewed the show’s season two finale.

The worst of all, and most shocking, is the cancellation of the star studded “Bored to Death.”  Starring Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis, the fans of “Bored to Death” must of literally been “bored to death” of the show since a disappointing 200,000 fans tuned into the last episode of season three.

If your a fan of “Enlightened”, dont worry!  HBO has ordered at least ten more episodes of the show that has been nominated for two Golden Globes, including one for Best Comedy.
