Jimmy Fallon Sued for Gender Discrimination

Television personality Jimmy Fallon and NBC Universal are being sued for gender discrimination, according to TMZ.  The two defendants are being accused of wrong discrimination and termination by a former staffer.

In the lawsuit filed in Manhattan by Paul Tarascio, he was fired from his job of first stage manager at the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and was replaced by a “totally incompetent woman” in 2010 who continually asked him how to do her job and messed up her stage manager duties.

The lawsuit also claims that Jimmy Fallon likes to be bossed around by women and tried to surround himself with an all female stage crew.  The plaintiff claims that “Late Night” director David Diomedi told him “Jimmy just prefers to take direction from a woman.”

Tarascio is suing for punitive damages and lost wages.
