Johnny Depp Pranks Amber Heard on Reality Show ‘Overhaulin’

johnny depp amber heardJohnny Depp played a cruel prank on wife Amber Heard.

For the automotive reality show Overhaulin’, Depp and Heard’s father played along in making her believe that her beloved 1968 Mustang had been stolen. In reality, her car was being renovated.

Host Chris Jacobs and custom car designer Chip Foose disguised themselves as police officers who were more concerned with taking pictures with Heard and Depp than looking for her vehicle.

As shown in the clip below, Heard became very upset with the officers. “Are you kidding me!” she exclaimed. “Get my car back!”

Before she became completely enraged, Jacobs and Foose revealed their true identities and told her she was on Overhaulin’.

“I’m overwhelmed, I can’t believe it,” Heard said in response. “I’m blown away. I’m speechless.”

“I bought it as kind of a drivable piece of junk, a beautiful piece of junk,” Heard explained. “The car cost me every dime I had.”

Depp stated that it was difficult keeping everything a secret. “There’s only so many times you can change the subject.”

In the end, her car was transformed into a cherry red sportscar.

Watch the clip of the prank below, which will air on November 4th’s episode of Overhaulin’ on Velocity.
