Justin Bieber to Appear on ‘The Simpsons’

Justin Bieber is getting animated on the upcoming 24th season of The Simpsons.  The Biebs is making a cameo on the Sept. 30 episode of the Fox series, “The Fabulous Faker Boy,” where the teen idol “tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him.”

“Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy,” the Canadian pop star tweeted (and then later deleted) on Tuesday.

Several musical icons like Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Sting and Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Ted Nugent, Katy Perry, “American Idol” judges, and several members of the “Glee” cast have been animated on past seasons of The Simpsons.

Throughout the 2013 season there will be appearances by Max Weinberg (of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band), She & Him singer Zooey Deschanel and actor Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman.  Composer Marvin Hamlisch, who died at the age of 68 on Aug. 6th,  recorded lines for an upcoming guest role on The Simpsons season.
