Kevin McHale In The Running To Co-Host ‘The X-Factor’

Glee’s Kevin McHale is reportedly in the running to be a co-host on the upcoming season of the “The X-Factor.” He has had previous hosting duties on FOX, including the Teen Choice Awards.

The first season of “The X Factor” was hosted by Steve Jones, but he was fired along with judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.  Sine then, Abdul and Scherzinger have been replaced by Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.  Producer and judge Simon Cowell said he wanted to replace Jones with two people, a male and female.

Also rumored to be in consideration for co-host is Khloe Kardashian, who recently said she was “ready for her screen test.”

Cowell is reportedly also looking at Mario Lopez, Erin Andrews and others to serve as host, including George Clooney’s girlfriend and former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler.

“The X Factor” Season 2 premieres Wednesday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
