Mad Men Final Season Trailer Released

AMC has released the first trailer for the final episodes of Mad Men.

Little is revealed about the plot but the trailer features shots of main characters Don Draper, Peggy Olsen, Pete Campbell, Roger Sterling, and others in polished 1970s attire. The trailer is paired with Diana Ross’ “Sweetest Hangover” from 1976 to match Mad Men moving in to the groovy decade.

This is Mad Men’s second half of its seventh and final season. The show began quietly in July of 2007 and helped AMC become a powerhouse network. The show won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series four times, for each of its first four seasons and launched the careers of Jon Hamm (The Town, Bridesmaids) and Elizabeth Moss (Get Him to the Greek, The One I Love). A year after Mad Men first aired AMC premiered Breaking Bad which would go on to win 16 Primetime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series twice in 20013 and 2014 and lead to the network’s spin off series Better Call Saul. Walking Dead, arguably AMC’s most popular current show, premiered in 2010 and has performed incredibly well with record breaking ratings.

Season 7 Part 2 of AMC’s Mad Men airs Sunday, April 5th.
