Man Tattoos $10,000 Worth of ‘Simpsons’ Characters on Him

A Simpsons super fan shows his love for the show by tattooing 203 Simpsons on his back.

Michael Baxter, 52, is an Australian prison officer who dreamed of having the most cartoon characters tattooed on his back. Baxter fulfilled that dream by having 203 Simpsons characters inked on his back in which he reportedly spent nearly $10,000 (USD).

Baxter’s tattoos took over 130 painful hours throughout this year in order to complete the Simpsons masterpiece. Key artwork pieces feature Homer, Marge, Lisa, Maggie, Bart, Moe’s Tavern and the rest of the Spring Field gang.

“The Guinness Book of World Records” have accepted Baxter’s application for the most tattooed Simpsons characters. The current record holder is Len Wein of New Zealand, who has done 41 ink jobs of Homer Simpson on his arm.

Baxter’s Simpsons masterpiece is just in time for the series’ 25th anniversary next week.
