Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake Join ‘SNL’ 40th Anniversary Special

Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary special is going to be one you won’t want to miss!

Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Paul Simon and Taylor Swift have all signed on to appear on the Emmy Award-winning show, which is set reunite former cast members, hosts and musical guests for the special.

Along with the star-studded lineup of musicians, the show will mark the return of Eddie Murphy for the first time since 1984. “It’s just timing,” the comedian-musician told News One last week, revealing his involvement with the special. “It just never worked out where the timing was right for me to do it. . . They’re actually having a 40th anniversary I think in two weeks. I’m going to that, and that’ll be the first time I’ve been back since I left.”

Other former SNL cast members both recent (Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey) and old school (Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) will be joining the comedy special.

Rounding out the list are Emma Stone, Derek Jeter, Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler, Melissa McCarthy, James Franco, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Molly Shannon, Mike Myers, Jack Nicholson, Jim Carrey, Peyton Manning, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, Alec Baldwin, Garrett Morris, Andy Samberg, Christopher Walken, Maya Rudolph, Tom Hanks, Martin Short, Betty White, Bill Hader, Jane Curtin, Jon Hamm, Laraine Newman, Zach Galifianakis, Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, David Spade, Kerry Washington, Fred Armisen, and Norm MacDonald.
