‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Renewed for 11th Season

Fox’s competition dance show, So You Think You Can Dance, wrapped its 10th season last night with the season finale. Dancers Fik-Shun and Amy were crowned this season’s winners, even though the show was partially interrupted by President Obama’s live national address to the American public regarding the crisis in Syria.

During the live season finale, Nigel Lythgoe announced So You Think You Can Dance would be returning for an eleventh season next year.  There was no previous guarantee for another season, due to ratings being down this summer.

SYTYCD has had over 200 episodes in total aired on Fox, with an average of 4 million viewers per episode for its 10th Season.
