‘Will & Grace’ Cast Reunite for 2016 Election Bit

Over the past few days, the cast of the sitcom Will & Grace have been teasing a reunion on social media. On Monday, it was revealed that the stars all came together to film a scene to encourage Americans to vote, ten years after the show’s finale. It was posted ahead of tonight’s presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes reprised their roles as Grace, Will, Karen, and Jack, respectively, to film a nearly ten-minute scene of the show. It begins with Will expressing his dislike for Trump with Grace. Karen comes over, showing her support for Trump, and Will and Grace try to dissuade her from voting for him. Jack also arrives and reveals that he is undecided on who he should vote for, so Grace provides him with reasons to vote for Clinton.

Throughout the scene, many pop culture references are made, including mentions of Hamilton, the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split, the protest against Ryan Lochte on Dancing with the Stars, and Fifty Shades of Grey.
