Gwen Stefani Announces Album Release Date and Live Music Video

Gwen Stefani announced that her third solo album This Is What the Truth Feels Like will hit stores Friday, March 18th. It will also be her first solo album in a decade. Her last solo release was The Sweet Escape in 2006.

In addition, Stefani, in collaboration with Target, will be making history with her latest single “Make Me Like You.” Target revealed Wednesday that the music video for the track will be acted out, filmed, and broadcast live during a four-minute commercial break of the Grammys, which airs Monday, February 15th at 7pm CST on CBS. The video will involve different sets and costume changes. The event marks the first time a music video has ever been created live on TV.

“Target has an incredible legacy of creating unexpected moments in music, and I’m thrilled to be partnering with them to create my new music video on live television next Monday,” Stefani said in a statement.
