Paul McCartney, Metallica to Headline Lollapalooza

The full lineup for the highly anticipated Lollapalooza festival was released Wednesday morning!

Based in Chicago, Lollapalooza will begin July 31st and run through August 2nd in Grant Park. Headliners for this year’s festival will kick off with Paul McCartney, Metallica and Florence + the Machine. Other highlights of the lineup include Sam Smith, Bassnectar, Alt-J, TV on the Radio, Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes, Death From Above 1979 and many more!

McCartney will perform on Friday night (July 31st) as he makes his Lollapalooza debut. Also scheduled on that day are The Weeknd, The War on Drugs, Alabama Shakes, Kaskade, Gary Clark Jr, Flying Lotus and Radiohead’s Philip Selway.

Saturday night (August 1st) will feature Metallica as its headliner, along with Smith, Tyler the Creator, Charli XCX, Kid Cudi, Brand New, Django Django, Alesso and more to perform that day.

Florence + the Machine and Bassnectar will both wrap up as headliners on Sunday (August 2nd), with Of Monsters and Men, A$AP Rocky, TV on the Radio, FKA Twigs, Odesza, George Ezra, Marina and the Diamonds, Twenty One Pilots and more.

The three-day passes and one-day passes – which were released earlier Wednesday morning – for this year’s extravaganza are already sold out! Check out Lollapalooza’s official site for more information.
