Michelle Obama to Guest Star on ‘Nashville’

First Lady Michelle Obama will guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Nashville.

Mrs. Obama will make a cameo appearance during a a charity concert scene on the show with country music queen Rayna James (played by Connie Britton). The First Lady’s role won’t necessarily showcase any of her singing talent, but could possibly showcase some of her dance moves in the episode.  In addition to the First Lady, Kellie Pickler will be joining the cast for a guest appearance as well.

This isn’t the first time the FLOTUS has had  a cameo on network television.  Mrs. Obama visited the sets of Sesame Street, iCarly and The Biggest Loser to promote physical fitness and healthful eating for her Let’s Move! initiative. She will also appear on next Thursday’s season finale of Parks and Recreation.

Mrs. Obama’s appearance in the country music drama Nashville will air on Wednesday, May 7.
