Thanks to popular shows like Stranger Things, and Critical Role, D&D has made a resurgence into the spotlight. The indie studio eOne has noticed and plans to put a Dungeons & Dragons series in development.
eOne has tasked Rawson Marshall Thurber with producing the new live-action series as well as writing and directing the pilot. Thurber is fresh off directing Red Notice, the action-adventure thriller with 2 new sequels currently in the works. Thurber will also helm the new game-to-movie adaptation of The Division with Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.
