Kevin Spacey Recruited For ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’

The upcoming installment of the wildly popular Call of Duty game will launch on November 4 with “House of Cards” actor Kevin Spacey playing the familiar role of a powerful politician. Publisher Activision and developer Sledgehammer Games launched the first official trailer for the new game subtitled “Advanced Warfare” on the official Call of Duty YouTube page late last night.

The nearly three-minute trailer shows footage from the forthcoming Call of Duty title which, unlike its predecessors that featured contemporary environments, includes “battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved.” The trailer features Kevin Spacey, who will serve as the game’s main antagonist and as the head of a private military corporation that has attacked the United States, pacing around an office, along with shots of burning American cities and soldiers wearing armor. In the clip, during an extreme close-up, Spacey speaks to the camera, saying: “Power determines who is right. I have the power, so I’m right.”
