Universal Pictures has announced that Dumb And Dumber To will arrive in theaters just in time for Thanksgiving next year. The film will once again star Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as Lloyd and Harry, and finds the pair on a road trip to find a child that Harry has just discovered is his. Kathleen Turner, Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden and Steve Tom will also star in the movie.
According to Jeff Daniels’ Twitter account, production for the sequel to the 1994 comedy classic is already underway. Peter and Bobby Farrelly, who made their directorial debuts on the original, will direct and produce the film. Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland of Red Granite Pictures, Charles Wessler and Bradley Thomas are also producing.
Dumb And Dumber To will open in theaters on November 14, 2014, three weeks short of the 20-year anniversary of the original film, which grossed more than $250M worldwide.
