Jim Carrey will no longer be in the Dumb and Dumber sequel due to a dispute with Warner Bros and New Line Cinema.
Since the original 1994 Dumb and Dumber long-awaited fans were excited to hear the news about a sequel coming out with Carrey and Jeff Daniels back in April this year. The movie was supposed to be titled “Dumb and Dumber To”, however plans to start production this year have derailed when Carrey reported to Entertainment Tonight that he has left the project when he grew increasingly frustrated by the two studios when they showed a lack of enthusiasm. Carrey officially stated “I would have thought ‘Dumber and Dumber To’ was a no-brainer. After all, its implied in the title.” As for now Carrey will appear with Steve Carrell in “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” set to come out in 2013.
