Universal Pictures has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Tom Hooper-directed film Les Miserables. The film is an adaptation of the successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel set in 19th-century France.
The film’s all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter.
The musical drama Les Miserables is scheduled to open in theaters December 14, 2012.
