Watch: New Trailer Released For ‘Suicide Squad’ Extended Cut

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad Extended Cut Blu-ray release.

The extended cut will have an additional 13 minutes of the film. Suicide Squad, written and directed by David Ayer, debuted with $135 million in August and went on to rack up $739 million worldwide. The film stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach and Karen Fukuhara.

After the theatrical cut hit theaters, Ayer revealed, “We have a chunk [of deleted scenes], there’s definitely over 10 minutes of material on there. But this cut of the movie is my cut, there’s no sort of parallel universe version of the movie, the released movie is my cut. And that’s one of the toughest things about writing, shooting, and directing a film, is you end up with these orphans and you f—–g love them and you think they’d be amazing scenes and do these amazing things but the film is a dictatorship (laughs), not a democracy, and just because something’s cool and charismatic doesn’t mean it gets to survive in the final cut. The flow of the movie is the highest master.”

The film arrives on Digital HD on November 15th and Blu-ray on December 13th. Check out the extended cut trailer below:
