Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been officially charged with domestic violence after allegedly attacking one of his baby mamas and trashing her condo. In addition to the domestic violence charge, the 37-year-old rapper has been charged with four counts of vandalism, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles on Monday.
The Los Angeles City Attorney told TMZ that Jackson is accused of causing $7,100 in damage at a Toluca Lake, California condo on June 23rd. According to officials, he reportedly broke chandeliers, furniture, a TV and a lamp during the rampage. The woman involved in the altercation said she locked herself in a bedroom, but 50 Cent kicked down the door and injured her. Cops were called to the scene but officials say 50 Cent left before they arrived.
If found guilty, 50 Cent faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines. His court arraignment is currently set for July 22.
