Chris Brown CHARGED

Not good news today for singer Chris Brown, who was charged by the Los Angeles City Attorney with criminal hit-and-run. This is in connection to the accident Brown was involved in last month where he rear-ended a Mercedes and refused to give his driver’s license number. He also gave false insurance info and left the scene.

Brown was also charged with driving without a valid license. Maximum punishment for each charge is six months in jail.

The problem? Brown is currently on probation for the Rihanna incident. If the L.A. County District Attorney chooses to charge Brown for violation of probation, he could receive 4 years in prison.
