Pop star Britney Spears left fans enraged after they spent $2,500 for a three second VIP meet and greet at her Piece of Me show in Las Vegas.
The $2,500 VIP package consisted of the meet and greet, a front-row seat to her show, and a bag full of Britney merchandise, with the chance of meeting the “Toxic” singer being the reason for paying the inflated ticket price.
Fans who had been anticipating the meet and greet with the singer claimed Spears barley spoke, only smiled, nodded and said “thank you,” resulting in the$2,500 meet and greet being uncomfortable and awkward.
According to Radar Online, Fans were told before the meet-and-greet that they were not to hug or touch Spears without her permission. Once fans were granted the opportunity to meet the singer they were allowed a three second window were she would smile, take a photo and say goodbye after being moved on.
Spear’s spokesman has yet to comment on the incident.
